ABOUT ME
Hey, I’m Jamie Burke! I’m a current senior at Auburn University Majoring in Marketing and Minoring in Graphic Design. Over the past four years I have grown an extensive background in Social Media and Digital Marketing through internships and leadership experiences on Auburn's campus.
Summer 2021, I had the opportunity to intern with Kinetic Communications as a Project Management and Marketing Intern in Birmingham, AL. There, I was able to grow in a fast paced and creative environment. I also am well known for freelancing as a Photographer and Graphic Designer in the Auburn community. In 2021, I was promoted within my sorority from Assistant Director of Marketing to Marketing Director. I took on the full-time leadership position where I was able to grow in Digital and Social Media Marketing. During my time, I rebuilt the Alpha Beta website, rebranded our entire chapter which increased engagements on all social media platforms, and I established a user friendly foundation for the future marketing teams to come within Alpha Beta. I love Art, Interior Design, Graphic Design and all things Digital Marketing.

PROJECTS
VIDEo PORTFOLIO PROJECT
For my photography class's final project we were asked to create a video showcasing a struggle that we overcame. My biggest struggle that summer was earning my Graphic Design Minor online during the height of COVID-19. Because we were online, we weren't able to use to resources that everyone else had previously had access to on campus and that created barriers for us. The summer of 2020 was hard on all of us and I wanted to be able to bring the victory of education and perseverance to light to my classmates and professors.
WEBSITE DESIGN
At the beginning of my year as the Marketing Director for the Alpha Beta Chapter of Chi Omega, I decided that our old website did not represent us to the fullest capacity that it could. I moved our domain over to a more user friendly website building platform and began the rebranding process from there. This way, the site will be easier for future marketing directors to manage and update throughout the years. The site was well received by chapter members, alumni, and even Chi Omega Nationals.
